The Home Health Aide program at ICAN Nursing is designed to equip students with the knowledge and hands-on skills needed to assist clients with daily living activities, personal care, safety, and comfort in a home environment. Students are introduced to the responsibilities of the Home Health Aide role while building the confidence to provide compassionate and professional support.
This curriculum is designed to complement nurse assistant training and can be taken alongside a nurse assistant course or by students who are already certified as nurse assistants looking to expand their skills. The program focuses on patient care techniques, communication, infection control, safety awareness, and supportive care practices.
