This school offered me so many experiences and opportunities as well as saved my life. As a student here, I was diagnosed with a very serious heart condition in which I never would have found if I had not come to this school. Dr. H quite literally saved my life as well as gave me amazing advice in which allowed me to take better care of my health as well as additional steps to take on my nursing journey. I also loved seeing her dog on occasion when he would come visit my class. As a 17 year old high school student in whom was doing normal high school monday-friday and cna school on saturday-sunday, I was supported with unconditional love, respect, and guidance by Dr. H and Mrs. Mona. Dr. H is an excellent instructor who always makes sure students understand the material, and she makes every lecture enjoyable and engaging. Miss Mona is also amazing, she is incredibly helpful during clinicals and always makes herself available to answer any questions that come up. I graduate from inland academy this week and honestly I had such an amazing experience in this CNA program, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better instructor than Doctor H. She goes above and beyond for her students and genuinely cares about us, not just as students but as family. What made her stand out to me is how she takes the time to build connections with everyone and creates a comfortable, supportive environment. She has a way of making the class both fun and really informative. As a 17 year old, I learned so much more than other older CNA’s, thanks to her. Not to mention, her dog ranger was such a cutie, seeing him during class always made my day better. But besides that Doctor H and Mrs Mona, were such a help and so kind, one of the best teachers I’ve ever had.
